Sunday 6th December 2015 sees the start of one of London’s newest 5km Santa Run’s, along a very iconic route!

Santa-1

Starting outside City Hall, the route will take runners around Shad Thames, then over the world famous Tower Bridge, around the Tower of London and then back over Tower Bridge to the finish line by City Hall.

I will be running to raise funds for a charity close to my heart – Battersea Dogs and Cats Home – http://www.battersea.org.uk/ – and hope to get as many sponsors as possible.

Pledges can be made via the email address linked to this site under contact/follow me,

with direct payments being be made to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home on http://www.battersea.org.uk/WEBDonate?pageId=291-Donations.

Please use the reference “Sioux Gijzen / Santa Run 6/12/2015” and I would also

appreciate the donation being noted as a comment on this site.

All funds received by BD&CH will be made public on this site, along with info regarding a

visit to the home in the next month or two.

Help me to support a worthwhile cause, and stay close to this blog site for some fun photos taken on the day!

And so my first sponsor is onboard!!

A very close friend, who at this stage prefers to be known as “The Anonymous Bunny Hugger”,and is also an avid animal lover, with two cats as constant companions, has pledged 25GBP!

Thank you my dear friend, for helping me to help the four-leggeds!
