New year’s eve was a quiet day spent at home chilling and having loads of fun and laughter with a balloon popping game, with many shrieks when the balloon finally popped!

New Year’s day was another quiet day, a walk about at one of the rather ostentatious shopping malls and finished off with a prawn braai.

Another game that had us howling, is called “Speak Out”. Players have to read out loud words from preprinted cards, while wearing a plastic brace to keep your mouth open. Needless to say there was much laughter and joviality!

We were all in bed early & none of us was awake as a new year crept quietly into our lives.

All in all, a fab holiday with special people.
