"In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years." - Abraham Lincoln

Once I had done the necessary updating of certification, which is required in my line of work, I took myself off to Reading.

It was half way to my next assignment and the last time I had seen anything of this particular area, was almost a year ago, from the seated position in a wheelchair and in agony, due to having put my back out. This time I was more than mobile enough to explore the area on the full day I was there.

Being half way to my next assignment also meant I didn’t have to get up too early to catch the train.

This stop over brought my “new bed” tally to 68!

Never in my life did I think I would sleep in so many new beds ever, never mind in under 3 years!

The accommodation was a room in a commune type flat, as opposed to a room in a one family home. Different, but it was near the station, cheap and clean so I didn’t complain.
