I took advantage of the long days and short nights, and went walking until quite late in the evenings. It was fabulous to be able to walk around the town.

I stopped off for a goulash and beer and then headed back to the hotel.

Munich had been great but new adventures awaited and I was off to Austria the next day on the early train.

The New Town Hall and Marienplatz

Maximilianeum

The Golden Friedensengel
