My next stop was to the home of my friend who had passed away a few months before, to spend some time with his wife. I hadn’t seen her since we parted in PE.

It was an emotional visit, and although we shed a lot of tears, we also did a lot of reminiscing and we laughed – a lot. It was strange, he not being there. His presence was felt though. And the cats still didn’t really want to talk to me!

It was a good visit, albeit very short, as I was soon headed to the coast, and she had work to attend to.

A new bed and a new view

took my tally up to 95.
