When I was home in April 2017, I never got to visit Cape Town to see my daughter and family there, so 9 days were planned during my December 2017 trip. Paul joined me and our first visit was lunch with my daughter, youngest sister and her 2 lively and boisterous youngsters.

The kids were intrigued when we discovered some very newly

hatched ducklings hiding with mom in the garden alongside our table.

After lunch we took a drive along Chapmans Peak Drive, we headed

to a Hout Bay beach restaurant for milkshakes.

The wind was blowing a gale and the sand had piled up and hadblocked the entrance and the kids couldn’t play outside, so it was a quick visit and then home.
