While in the berg, we went up to the Falconridge Raptor Centre. Some beautiful birds are resident at the centre.

We got the chance to photograph a fish eagle coming in to grab a lure out of a pond, a brilliant experience to be so close up!

The owners hunting dogs watched the birds hungrily but were well trained enough to watch and not hunt. It was amusing to watch them though…eyeing the birds and making me wonder what was going on inside their heads! Sadly, all good times have to end and we headed back home after two nights in the mountains.
