With some time to spare before I set off on my first job as a live-in carer, I went to visit Paul’s brother and his girlfriend. They live in a lovely little place in Lingfield and I was to have the spare room for the night.

Good to be able to visit in their ‘hood now, where before it was them visiting us in South Africa!

This brings to 14, the number of abode doors I have walked through with the intention of sleeping there, and windows I have had a view from, since I started this blog! I would never have guessed!

After a great meal out, we walked around the village/town, wandering the streets. Walking around a magnificent churchyard, I marveled at the beauty that is the English countryside!

Hah!!! there you go! that’s exactly it…..lots and lots of different places….so glad you’re keeping a record, I’m sorry I didn’t. Well done. After 5 years you will be astounded at how many places you have visited
