Time for a break again and time spent with friends from yesteryear.

Many moons ago, I worked with a lovely lady, who was also my immediate senior at the company. We have remained friends over the years and kept in touch when she moved to the UK. We met up once before when I was in the UK, but just for a quick pint after her working day ended.

This time, with advance arranging, I spent more than just a day with her & her partner.

And a wonderful time it was too!

We had many years to catch up, and shared many laughs about the pranks we used to get up

to while working together. The view from my room was of the lovely little garden in back of the              house. With a bird feeder in the tree, I woke to the sound of chirping every morning.

A fabulous time, many laughs and old friendships rekindled.

This visit also brings to 23 the number of different places that I have ‘hung my hat’ and

‘laid my head down’, in the 4 months I have been in the UK!
