Travel in the UK is generally quite easy and I’ve decided rather than going back to the same “in-between-jobs-residence” all the time, I’m going to take advantage of trains and busses and do what I set out to do 3 years ago – travel! So, looking for interesting places enroute from one client to another has become a new pastime!

Travelling from Wiltshire to Liverpool, there’s Stratford-Upon-Avon sort of in the middle.

An interesting place to visit, coupled with the fact that during one of my central London walkabouts I had met a Shakespeare and theatre aficionado who lives in Stratford; it was the obvious choice. I set a date, booked a room, charged my camera batteries and made my plans! Birthplace of the Bard, here I come!

Hopefully the weather holds out; there is much to see, and a lot of walking to be done!
