"In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years." - Abraham Lincoln

During an inbetween jobs break, I took a walk along the River Medway which flows through Tonbridge. It was still fairly warm and the ducks and swans were enjoying the last bit of sun and warmth as much as I did!

I walked from where I was staying, along the river past the castle to a large dam used for fishing and recreation. I walked the perimeter of the dam and back to the house.

There are so many different pathways to choose from and the one I took back had what is apparently an old WWII concrete bunker hidden in the trees!

By the time I got back, a serious storm was brewing, but it was a fabulous day out!
